Here at Ninja Theory we understand the importance of getting your start in the games industry and as such, are pleased to support planned internships at the studio. We have already run successful internships for Programming, Animation, Cinematics, Character and Environment Art, and have received great feedback from the interns who took part – in fact they enjoyed it so much that several of our interns have then accepted permanent positions with us!

We only run planned internships for specific disciplines and for fixed periods. We plan internships based on our current projects, the studio’s schedule and the availability of our mentors. Unfortunately, we are unable to facilitate individual placements outside of these, as the team would not be able to offer the best support and guidance necessary for a successful placement.

The Rookies

We also sponsor The Rookies, which is an annual awards and mentor platform open to young creatives in film, animation, games, VR, motion graphics and architecture visualisation. Submissions for which are usually open from the beginning of March until the end of May.

For us as a studio, it’s an ideal place to find outstanding emerging talent so as well as being involved in judging the entrants we also offer an internship or two each year as a prize.

What we look for in all our successful interns

  • Currently studying or just completed a relevant Degree/Masters/PhD/equivalent mode of study.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for games and game development
  • Great team players
