Programming Internship – Summer 2017

Ninja Theory is excited to announce a new programming internship opportunity for current students!

Our programming team are working at the cutting edge of game development and are a crucial part of the studio’s success. Whether concentrating on highly technical aspects of the project such as low level systems, graphics, animation and optimisations, or developing new code systems and implementing game features, they work closely with disciplines throughout the studio including design, audio and animation.

We’re looking for someone to join us for a 10-12 week period over the summer of 2017 to take on a project or area of work that will have a direct impact on what we do – whether that’s a game feature for our latest project or some technically innovative R&D – as well as the chance to work across a wide variety of platforms.

The final decision regarding what you work on will come down to your interests, strengths and abilities combined with Ninja Theory’s expertise.

Are you our next Ninja?

We’re looking for the following in our successful intern candidate:

• Currently studying or just completed a relevant Degree/Masters/PhD (e.g. Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Maths, Engineering)
• Demonstrable practical C++ knowledge
• Passion for games and game development
• A great team player

What we can offer you!

We’ll offer you an exciting placement where the work you do will have a direct impact on our game(s) and/or game development. We’re also providing excellent financial compensation for your time as well as a fantastic working environment with a friendly and supportive group of people.

Think you have what it takes?

Please send in your CV, cover letter and Ninja Theory Application Form to jobs@ninjatheory.com stating clearly in the subject title ‘Programming Internship 2017’.
