omg! this is awesome. this is awesome... thank you NT. It was very appreciated.
I just want to say I love you all. I love nariko more. If this game doesnt get top marks, then i'll stop playing games altogether. The beauty, the style the design is just to amazing. I cant wait to get home and down load on my own ps3. The guy at the store where I played it begged me to leave the controller cuz I was ready to fling a punch at him if he tried to stop me. Anyways the short time I had with the game was amazing. I'm going back to school to get the demo downloaded. I need to be on my ps3. Last edited by rex41e; July 26th, 2007 at 09:27 PM.. |

The audio (music cutting out) glitches during the Ninja Sequence are also fixed. FYI the demo was locked down ages ago, plenty of spit n polish has been done since then right. |

The recent firmware updates allow scaling of PS1 and PS2 games, as well as upconversion of DVDs (via HDMI only). The updates do NOT allow scaling of 720p PS3 games to 1080 i/p. As my TV will only display 480i, 480p, and 1080i, I have to play the Heavenly Sword demo (not to mention other games such as Motorstorm and Resistance) at a last gen 480p. Other developers have addressed this issue by either making the game natively at 1080 or scaling from 720 to allow it to play at 1080. I would hate to see Ninja Theory take the easy way out and allow the final build of the game to be 720 only (and thus 480 for me and others). As a game being produced by Sony, I would expect them to be leading the way into 'next gen' gaming. That includes enabling those of us with 1080i TVs to enjoy their games at something better than 'last gen' 480p. I am far from the only one with this issue. Many early HDTVs only support 480i/480p/1080i. Again, the thread dedicated to this issue can be found here. --Scott |

Heavenly Sword am PWNage. Man, the combo system has so much depth, I've played it through six times and I still don't know how to best utilize it in all its awesomeness.
Based on the demo (and assuming everything doesn't go downhill from there ), Heavenly Sword is everything I hoped it would be. Great job, guys 'n gals at Ninja Theory. Just less than two months anymore & it'll be on store shelves! |

Can someone from the devs tell us about the v-synch issues? It is a shame to see such a remarkable game ache at that point.

And the AI was just fine. Yes, the enemies kept strafing around you, but it wouldn't be fun if twenty enemies were all attacking you relentlessly without pause. Now they attack you enough that you can't just button-smash your way through the demo, but not too much so that it'd get frustrating when you can't get a chance to attack at points. |
