Got a couple of mates who worked on this, so I've had it on pre-order a while. Friday can't come soon enough!

The first one did, so this will probably too, at some point in the future.
Didn't really like the first one, thought it was pretty mediocre no matter if you could have an effect on the world. The ideas behind it were good, but actually playing & experiencing it... not-so-good (the battlesystem was bad, plot horrible and level design pretty horrible too). In my opinion it was just plain boring, but well, I think the same about Oblivion too, so if you're a fan of that, then you'll probably like Fable II, too. So I'm not looking forward to this either. I'd like to try it first somewhere before even thinking of buying it. |

Official Xbox Magazine
"Fable II is everything Molyneux promised the first time around. It's funny, deep, emotional, epic, and, yes, wildly charming. We are already eager for a second playthrough, and we're betting a lot of you will have exactly the same reaction." 95.0% VideoGamer 90.0% Eurogamer 100.0% Computer & Video Games UK 92.0% Planet Xbox 360 95.0% Kikizo 90.0% Gameplayer "The combat handles well, it’s visually stunning, the voice acting and musical score are brilliant, and the epic storyline doesn’t end before it begins (like the first game did). But the most appealing thing about it is that it delivers everything that Molyneux has promised, plus it is oozing with wit and charm - something sorely lacking from many games nowadays. At the end of the day, Fable II is a triumph and a must buy." 9,5% Edge Magazine UK "It’s a game that builds gradually and then becomes irresistible, a beautiful lump of an RPG that continues beyond the close of its main campaign, and will have you thinking about it when you’re not at your 360." 90.0% Looking good ![]() Hopefully Peter Molyneux kept most of his promisses this time.. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthre...338725&page=15 --------------------------------------------- Originally Posted by Cocopjojo: Me and Sanjuro just met at the town center and talked. Sounds like there are options to set like: Friends only or everyone, but it's still amazing: ![]() The one on the right is working at the Blacksmith. Also, you can't see it, but the one on the right is an anime chick wearing a bikini. Lol. You can see how they glow, so you can see them from a reasonable distance away in-game. --------------------------------------------- Quote from Neo Gaf: Even when paused, you can hear folks. I'm standing next to the Blacksmith (haven't unpaused it since I took the picture a min ago), and I can hear folks talking: "damnit! Broke my chain," and "how high of a chain have you guys gotten?" (you get more gold multipliers as you continue working without missing a "hit") "How much money do you have at this point?"
