All other Games ive played on my Setup works with DD5.1 and DTS without a Problem. Only HS (its a long time ago) and the Enslaved Demo shows me Stereo. Maybe ill download the HS Demo again and will test it out. But my Problem now its the Enslaved Game. Yes! I hope the Retail Game will be patched at Release.
Anything new to report?
Nothing concrete yet I'm afraid. As soon as I hear something definite I'll let you guys know!

Greetings,
I've had the exact same issue. I have an original 60gb PS3 hooked up to my Samsung TV via HDMI but to my Sony STR-DE975 via optical cable. All of my other PS3 games and movies play 5.1 Dolby Digital or DTS just fine. Enslaved only outputs 2ch PCM 48khz no matter what settings are toggled in the PS3 audio settings menu (i've tried them all). My receiver is old, but works fine with every other input I throw at it. I had the demo installed before I got my retail copy and it was 2ch as well. I deleted the demo before playing the retail copy. Maybe some demo code is still on my PS3 messing with the retail copy? I like the game so far, it just would be better with surround sound. thanks
great! got my copy today and yes its 2 ch stereo....![]()
just to beat my cat but is the game designed on 5.1 audio ?
does the 360 version has the same problem ?
I can confirm 2 things:
The 360 version is is DD 5.1 (beat it this morning)
The PS3 US version is in 2 channel stereo. (Friends copy on my PS3 to Denon 4806 via optical.)
Hope you guys put out a patch soon.
same issue here. ps3 connected to older harman kardon receiver via optical audio cable. all audio settings available are checked in the ps3 settings. hdmi from ps3 to TV. all other games/movies work fine in dolby digital.
