New Ratchet and Clank in 2009?

"The Swedish gaming site Level7.nu claims that by finishing Ratchet & Clank: Quest For Booty, you’ll get to see a screen that says the next installment in the Ratchet & Clank series will be released in late 2009. For now, chalk this up as a rumour, but we wouldn’t be too surprised if this is true since Insomniac are churning out games like madmen."

This is good news to me, I love R&C. I still don't have Future Tools though

Multiplayer: On the PS2 you guys were basically doing a “Ratchet” every year. Now, the indication is that “Resistance” is trading off with “Ratchet” every year. Is that a pattern people should be expecting from you guys?

Price: Well, we’ll continue to produce new IP, there’s no question about that. So that means that pattern won’t necessarily continue as you stated. You do see “Resistance 2″ coming out this year. One thing that has been nice for us is that instead of the one-year cycles that we had on PlayStation one, we now have two-year cycles, which gives us a chance to do really thorough pre-production and gives the team the chance to take a bit of a break — and gives consumers a break, too. We were experiencing consumer fatigue with “Ratchet” on the PlayStation 2.

Really wouldn't surprise me. Insomniac Games pumps out great games left and right. So I'm sure they'll have another R&C in fall 2009.

I agree, Insomniac knows their way around the PS3, I think they actually commented on having a 2 year cycle with R&C and Resistance games. I'll try to find it.

That does sound about right. I think they mentioned it once on their podcast.

Can't wait though, I love R&C. Been a fan since the first one came out.
