Decided to dig out some old games starting with Jet Set Radio Future... they don't make em like this anymore...

A story which is identically experienced by every other player of a game is far less powerful than one that is unique to the individual.

Hard Reset was lame 'till the extended version was announced, now it's going to be an "ok" game. Basically it's not an old school shooter at all or better: it's not as good as it was meant to be. Because the not-so-funny thing about "fast paced" action is that it doesn't concern your movement speed and possibilities otherwise every nowadays fps's would be called "slow paced". So instead of buying Hard Reset you could download and play UT99/UT2K4/QUAKE LIVE for free to see what fast paced means, because Hard Reset is the same thing over and over again.
BUT it has quite good action and it's full of explosions if that's what you are looking for. You know, back in the day we used to headshot everything through the game.

btw, if you feel slow you can download some trainer

    I know I said I disliked FF13 and I do, but erm...

    o___o..........

I'M SORRY! It was the time travel stuff I couldn't help myself! T_T Even if the game play is a non-stop ‘pressing x’ with the worse timed theme song for ending a game ever and the fact I can’t get over how flawlessly beautiful all these people are, I’m kinda drawn to it @_@ or Square Enix manipulated me by putting elements from another game series of theirs in there. It's a tough love.

    Binary Domain.

I'm about 5 hrs into this and unless it takes a nose dive between now and the end I've been quite impressed so far. Whilst it does takes its cues from Gears it isn't derivative. To be perfectly honest it subtley blends eastern and western design very well. It's certainly nowhere near as japaneese as I expected it to be.

A perfectly competent and solid shooter with a decent enough and interesting story so far. Well worth a play, imo.

    Here's a cut-scene which may spark a little interest.
