Well, that's another E3 over and done with!
It's been quite weird watching it from afar. It's the only E3 I've missed in about the last 7 years or so. Luckily Tameem was able to go out and give hands on demos to the press. Once again we're really chuffed by the feedback that we have received so far but what were the best bits? Well:-
* Seems like the people who got hands on had a good time with it and that's what it's all about for us![]()
* Finally it seems like people really believe that the game is _not_ an arena based fighter but is instead much grander in scope. We've been telling everyone that for years and it's finally sunk in![]()
* The emotion and subtlety that Andy and WETA have bought to the full performance capture of the characters in the cutscenes has been appreciated by the people that have seen them. Some of the cutscenes look truly beautiful!
* People at home really want to get hands on too. Well, let me just tell you all that the dev team has finished work on the demo.. that's it... it's in the bag... so now it's a case of Sony deciding when they feel is the best time to release it to PlayStation Network.
As usual, thank you to everybody on the forums and off for support of the game. This is of course the last E3 for Heavenly Sword before it's release... feels kind of weird to say that. Truly it does!
The Ninja team is now in the closing stage of development. We are quite literally fixing bugs and then it's done. In fact today is Saturday and a large proportion of the team are all in the office fixing those bugs (thanks guys and gals!).
When it's done the Ninjas are all gonna enjoy some sunshine and then think about what comes next.. Have a good summer everybody. Not long to go now!![]()
